I'm Arête (pronounced Ar-et), a current student at Swinburne University pursuing a double bachelor's degree in Business and Design.

Focused on marketing and Communication Design, I merge strategic thinking with aesthetic sensibility, set to graduate in June 2024 and 2025 respectively. Passionate about crafting sustainable strategies, I excel in consumer behaviour and social media marketing, leveraging design for impactful visuals and messaging.

Outside academics, I advocate for sustainability, indulging in diverse interests and nurturing a love for nature through my companionship with house plants, cats, and a thriving fish tank.

My name is Arete, pronounced Ar-et. I’m a current student pursuing a double bachelor's degree at Swinburne University. My studies blend my business acumen with a creative flair, focusing on marketing within the Business program and Communication Design in the Design curriculum. I embody a rare blend of strategic thinking and aesthetic sensibility, having completed my Design Degree in June 2024 and set to finish my Business Degree in June 2025.

Driven by a deep-seated passion for marketing, I find purpose in crafting sustainable strategies that resonate with modern consumers. My keen interest in consumer behaviour and social media marketing reflects a forward-thinking approach, poised at the intersection of technology and human engagement. I recognize the pivotal role of design in effective marketing, embracing my design major as a complementary asset, understanding that impactful marketing hinges on compelling visuals and messaging.

Outside the academic realm, I am a fervent advocate for sustainability, infusing this ethos into both my personal and professional endeavours. My diverse interests span from hiking to fashion to mixed martial arts, reflecting my personality which is deeply connected to nature and creativity. This love for nature extends to my companionship with countless house plants, three cherished cats, and a thriving 200L fish tank. The three felines serve as purr-fectly opinionated critics and oversee my sustainability efforts with a discerning eye, ensuring that every strategy gets a paw of approval.

With a robust foundation in marketing strategies and a keen eye for design aesthetics, I am poised to make a meaningful impact in the business and creative realms. My journey at Swinburne University serves as a testament to my dedication to the interconnected worlds of marketing and design.
